“Glee” continues to be the hardest-working show around, even on its off time.

Next in line to join the crew at McKinley High during Season Two is Academy Award winner Javier Bardem.

Bardem, whom we adored in “Before Night Falls” and “No Country for Old Men,” is slated to guest as a rock star who gets chummy with Artie (Kevin McHale).

During his work on the anticipated big screen adaptation of “Eat Pray Love” alongside Julia Roberts, Bardem pitched the idea to director Ryan Murphy -- we’re still not sure when Murphy finds the time to sleep with both projects on the brain, but we’re impressed.

“We’re going to rock the house,” Bardem told Entertainment Weekly. “We’re going to do some heavy metal — Spanish heavy metal, which is the worst.”

Fans exhausted by the thought of another announced guest star for the upcoming season shouldn’t fret, Murphy has said Season Two will focus on the original players with the guest stars supporting their back story. As long as Bardem and that other heartthrob John Stamos sing and dance – this Gleek will be content.
Now Murphy, please take a power nap, and maybe just glance at these tips we left for you.
