These days, I’ll take any opportunity to see Betty White hanging out, having a good time, maybe tossing a zinger or two off the cuff.

That next chance comes on Sunday night when the indefatigable 88-year-old actress and sole remaining Golden Girl plans to hit the ‘2010 MTV Movie Awards’ where she’ll be among film, TV and rock ‘n’ roll royalty (and she’ll probably make a bigger splash than any of them).

MTV will host Sandra Bullock for her first formal public appearance since she filed for divorce from cheating husband, Jesse James. (She and co-star White are both nominated for their roles in ‘The Proposal’ -- Bullock for best comedic performance and White for ‘Best WTF Moment’ for groping Bullock during the movie’s wedding-dress fitting scene. Come on, White has to win, if only so we can hear her acceptance quips.)

Bullock, also nominated for ‘The Blind Side,’ is picking up the MTV Generation Award for her two decades in the entertainment business. She’ll be the first woman to receive the honor.

Hosted by actor-comedian Aziz Ansari, the live show will roll out new footage of ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ and ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.’ Preshow coverage includes 10 minutes of the upcoming second season of ‘Jersey Shore,’ with appearances from The Situation, Snooki and the rest of the cast.

Others scheduled to attend include Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, Tom Cruise, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, the cast of ‘Grown Ups,’ Jonah Hill and Russell Brand (that about covers everyone who has any summer movies or projects to promote). Katy Perry and Snoop Dogg will perform her new anthem, ‘California Gurls,’ and Olympic gold medalist Shaun White will be adorable (if history’s any indicator).
