The new documentary series 'Last American Cowboy' profiles three cattle-ranching families in the great state of Montana, at 10 p.m. on Animal Planet.


Last Comic Standing: Contestants put their best jokes forward as this reality competition returns (8 p.m. NBC).

The Bachelorette: Tune in to see Barenaked Ladies – the pop band, that is – as they perform on a new episode of the romance-and-reality series (8 p.m. ABC).

The Secret Life of the American Teenager: The family drama returns with new episodes (8 p.m. ABC Family).

The Good Guys: After a couple of sneak peeks, this buddy-cop action-comedy starring Bradley Whitford and Colin Hanks makes it regular timeslot debut (9 p.m. Fox).

Persons Unknown: Abducted then abandoned in the middle of nowhere, seven strangers try to make sense of their circumstances in this new drama (10 p.m. NBC).

Nurse Jackie: This Edie Falco series ends its second season, followed by the season finale of "United States of Tara" starring Toni Collete (10 and 10:30 p.m. Showtime).

Neighbors From Hell: They're on a mission from Satan in this new animated comedy (10 p.m. TBS).


2010 Hip Hop Honors: This new edition of the awards show celebrates such "Dirty South" standard-bearers as Jermaine Dupri, Master P, Timbaland and 2 Live Crew (9 p.m. VH1).

Mega Bites: Baking and building the world's largest Rice Krispies treat is the goal for a chef, a scientist and an engineer in this new special (10 p.m. TLC).


Louise Bourgeois: The Spider, the Mistress and the Tangerine: The revered artist, who passed away last week the age of 98, is profiled in this 2008 documentary (5:15 p.m. Sundance).

The Candidate: Robert Redford is in the running for a Senate seat in this 1972 political drama (8 p.m. KTLA).


Baseball: The Padres play the Phillies (4 p.m. ESPN), the Angels visit the Athletics (7 p.m. FSN), and the Dodgers host the Cardinals (7 p.m. FS Prime).

College softball: The NCAA World Series Championship gets underway in Oklahoma City (5 p.m. ESPN2).
