'Mad Men': Whoa, Peggy's hair!

Episode-2-Peggy-400 So the "Mad Men" Facebook page just released a few new pictures from Season 4 of Matt Weiner's show. We're clicking through, clicking through -- OK, everything looks pretty normal, nothing to see here -- but then boom! We land on this picture of Peggy (Elisabeth Moss) sporting what can only be referred to as a stylin' bouffant. Bye bye, baby bangs of prior seasons.

The thing that's maybe most notable about this picture is how much it recalls our lady politicians of today. Not to pull a Carly Fiorina here, but I could easily see this coif on my state superintendent of public instruction or some other politico I may or may not have voted for in the last primary election. Granted, today's hairdressers are probably a little more fond of thinning out a big puppy like this with a few well-placed razor cuts in the bangs, but still, is Peggy not looking positively judicial?

Anyway, I thought you'd like to know. This season looks like it's going to be fun. Next stop, beehives?

Yikes. She looks like Meg Whitman.

Jackie Kennedy style from that time. Very flattering to Peggy.
