It seems Jimmy Fallon’s auto-tuned performance at last year’s Emmy Awards left a lasting impression. NBC announced Tuesday that the ‘Saturday Night Live’ alum will host the awards show this summer.

Guess Jay Z was wrong about the death of auto-tune.

It is the first Emmy-hosting gig for the ‘Late Night’ host, who is already a seasoned vet of the MTV awards circuit.
