‘How I Met Your Mother’ readies for a wedding

No, Ted’s (Josh Radnor) not finally marrying The Mother. In Monday’s penultimate episode, Ted will take a date (the ubiquitous Judy Greer) to see the movie “The Wedding Bride.”
“Wedding Bride,” for those who don’t remember, is the film that Stella’s (Sarah Chalke) ex, Tony (Jason Jones), wrote about how he won Stella back on the day of Stella and Ted’s wedding. Tony will be played by Jason Lewis (“Sex and the City”) in the film within the show, while Stella is portrayed by Malin Akerman (“Watchmen” and Radnor’s directorial debut “Happythankyoumoreplease”). Tony’s script has taken some liberties with its characterization of Ted, who is played by Chris Kattan (“The Middle”). Judging from the picture above, Ted’s not too happy about it.
