IN THOUSAND OAKS:
Gordon visits a family-owned restaurant on a new episode of “Kitchen Nightmares” at 9 p.m. on Fox.

SERIES

Gavin and Stacey: Gavin's (Mathew Horne) decision to accept a position in Wales means big adjustments for his family. Joanna Page, James Corden and Ruth Jones also star as the engaging romantic comedy series returns for a fifth season (6 p.m. BBC America).

Smallville: When Zod (Callum Blue) unleashes his army on the world, Chloe (Allison Mack) calls on some old friends to help battle the Kandorians, but things go badly wrong as she and Oliver (Justin Hartley) try to reconnect Watchtower's satellite system. Tom Welling also stars in the season finale (8 p.m. KTLA).

Wife Swap: A free-spirited feminist from Atlanta trades places with a Texas mom who caters to the every whim of her macho, football-obsessed husband and their sons — which is just the way they want it, in this new episode (8 p.m. ABC).

Live From Abbey Road: Michael Bublé and Temper Trap perform in this new episode (8 p.m. Sundance).

Medium: After an animal rights activist working undercover at a farm goes missing, Allison (Patricia Arquette) befriends a pig that might provide a clue to the woman's whereabouts in this new episode (9 p.m. CBS).

The Ricky Gervais Show: Stephen asks Karl questions posed on “Inside the Actors Studio” in this new episode (9 p.m. HBO).

Private Chefs of Beverly Hills: The chefs have to cater to rich and powerful teenagers in this new episode (10 p.m. Food).

MOVIES

It Should Happen to You: Judy Holliday stars as an out-of-work entertainer who uses the last of her savings to put her name on billboards around New York. Jack Lemmon made his big-screen starring debut in the role of her boyfriend. Peter Lawford also stars in this 1954 comedy (6:30 p.m. TCM).

Unforgiven: Clint Eastwood directed and starred in this Academy Award-winning 1992 western about a former outlaw who hopes to ensure his children's financial security with one last job. Frances Fisher, Gene Hackman, Richard Harris and Morgan Freeman also star (8 p.m. AMC).

SPORTS

Baseball: The Pittsburgh Pirates visit the Chicago Cubs (11 a.m. WGN A); Oakland Athletics visit the Angels (7 p.m. FSN); the Dodgers visit the San Diego Padres (7 p.m. FS Prime).
