2010-11 TV season taking shape: NBC orders one more series; other shows bite the dust
The race is on.
NBC announced another new drama on Monday, giving the network the edge both in behind-the-scenes staffing and well-needed publicity before next week's deluge of TV series pickups, renewals and cancellations. The five broadcast networks will announce their fall schedules to advertisers in New York next week.
"Chase," from the Emmy-winning Jerry Bruckheimer team, is a fast-paced drama that drops viewers into the middle of a game of cat-and-mouse as a team of U.S. marshals hunt down America's most dangerous fugitives. Kelli Giddish ("Past Life") stars as U.S. Marshal Annie Frost, a cowboy boot-wearing deputy whose sharp mind and unique Texas upbringing help her track down violent criminals on the run, according to an NBC press release. Also in the cast: Cole Hauser ("K-Ville"), Amaury Nolasco ("Prison Break"), Rose Rollins ("The L Word") and Jesse Metcalfe ("Desperate Housewives") as members of Frost’s elite team.
Before Monday's news, NBC already had picked up one comedy, "Outsourced," and three dramas: "Undercovers," "The Event," and "Love Bites."
Elsewhere in TV Land, The CW's "Nikita" is already hiring writers, so we can count on seeing that in the fall. Not so lucky is "Melrose Place," which is gone.ABC also has eliminated some of its question marks: "Scrubs," "The Deep End," "The Forgotten" and "Better Off Ted" are gone for good. Although "Flash Forward" is not officially dead, it's definitely on its last legs. The return of "V" is still up in the air.

Flashforward is the only true replacement to "Lost". A half series reboot can save it by storylines of competing but totally radically diffrent armaggedon flashforward or an actual possibility of changing past or now.

I like FlashForward. Isn't the storyline going to continue? It is a great show.

i don't care for most of them except better off Ted. It was amazing and very funny i don't know why ABC can't keep this good comedy hope another network sees its potential and picks it.
