SERIES

Doctor Who: The Doctor and Amy (Matt Smith, Karen Gillan) time travel to a futuristic Britain in this new episode of the sci-fi series (6 and 9 p.m. BBC America).

America's Worst Driver: New York City is the next stop for this reality series (10 p.m. Travel). 

The Wanda Sykes Show: "Breaking Bad's" Bryan Cranston drops by for the season finale (11 p.m. Fox). Saturday Night Live: Gabourey Sidibe ("Precious") is tonight's host, with musical guests MGMT (11:29 p.m. NBC).

SPECIALS

Outrageous Food: Aaron McCargo hosts this culinary travelogue (10 p.m. Food).

MOVIES

The Magnificent Ambersons: Orson Welles directed this decades-spanning 1942 drama about a Middle American family (7 p.m. TCM).

You Don't Know Jack: Al Pacino portrays assisted-suicide advocate Dr. Jack Kevorkian in this seriocomic docudrama directed by Barry Levinson (9 p.m. HBO).

Mothman: "Firefly's" Jewel Staite stars in this new made-for-cable creature feature (9 p.m. SyFy).

Terminator Salvation: It's man versus machine once again as Christian Bale and "Avatar's" Sam Worthington star in this so-so 2009 sci-fi sequel (10 p.m. Cinemax).

SPORTS

Baseball: The Dodgers visit the Nationals (10 a.m. FS Prime), the Angels host the Yankees (1 p.m. Fox), the Cubs visit the Brewers (4 p.m. WGN America) and the Cardinals visit the Giants (6 p.m. MLB).

Basketball: The playoffs continue as the Magic visits the Bobcats (11 a.m. TNT), the Suns visit the Trail Blazers (1:30 p.m. TNT), the Hawks visit the Bucks (4 p.m. ESPN) and the Lakers visit the Thunder (6:30 p.m. KCAL, ESPN).

Hockey: In playoff action, the Predators visit the Blackhawks (noon NBC), the Penguins visit the Senators (4 p.m. VS, if necessary) and the Sharks visit the Avalanche (7 p.m. VS).

Soccer: The Galaxy plays the Wizards (5:30 p.m. FSN).
