Patty Duke may have a quandary when the cast of ‘The Patty Duke Show’ reunites at the Paley Center for Media this week. Does she show up as the refined and sophisticated Cathy or as Cathy’s identical cousin, the rock ‘n’ roll Patty?

Duke played both roles in the series, one of the fondly remembered family sitcoms of the 1960s.

The cast is getting together at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Beverly Hills center for a very social purpose -- Social Security. The members will help promote Social Security’s new online services for seniors. The cast is featured in new ads that will be introduced at the event.

Expected to appear are William Schallert, who played Patty’s father, Martin Lane; Paul O’Keefe, who played her brother, Paul; and Eddie Applegate, who played Patty’s high school sweetheart Richard. In the ads, Patty and Richard are happily married.

Jean Bryon, who played Patty’s mother, died in 2006.
