Sarah Palin's Fox News series debuts with Toby Keith, LL Cool J and Jack Welch
Sarah Palin’s media domination continues this week with the debut Thursday of “Real American Stories,” a new series on Fox News hosted by the former Alaska governor about people with “real-life tales of overcoming adversity.”
The first installment, which airs Thursday at 7 p.m. Pacific time in place of “On the Record with Greta Van Susteren,” will feature stories about a Marine who died to save his fellow soldiers and a stock broker who helps underprivileged students pay for college. The series is part of the deal Palin struck in January to join the network as a contributor. The extent of her role on the program is unclear, but she interviewed people in studio for some of the segments.
The premiere episode also boasts an eclectic trio of celebrity guests. Country music star Toby Keith will discuss his song “Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue (The Angry American),” while rapper LL Cool J and former General Electric Chief Executive Jack Welch will discuss their professional successes in a segment called “In Their Own Words.”
“Real American Stories” will re-air April 4 at 6 p.m. Pacific. The network has not yet announced the date for a second episode.
The Fox News series comes on the heels of Palin signing a deal with Discovery Communications to star in a documentary series about Alaska that will air later this year on TLC. “Sarah Palin’s Alaska,” the show’s working title, is being produced by A-list reality TV producer Mark Burnett.
Meanwhile, Levi Johnston, the former boyfriend of Palin’s daughter Bristol, is also hoping to get into the action. He’s pitching his own testosterone-charged reality show about his life in Alaska. “If I could wave my magic wand, I would want it to premiere at the exact same hour, minute and second as Sarah Palin’s does,” Stuart Krasnow, the executive producer of Johnston’s series, told the Washington Post.

I find this to be disgusting. Not necessarily that this person has her own show, but that there are actually people out there who will watch it.

Finally, just when you thought they couldn't pull it off, something on TV worse than Leno.

Toby Keith? What she couldn't find another racist from Oklahoma to christen her soon-to -be award winning show? Go get 'em Tobe. Sigh.

I think it's great. Keep her on TV and out of politics. Please.

TLC and Discovery Communications does not do enough research on the people they have hosting a reality show such as Alaskan Nature with Sarah Palin. If they did, they would find that Sarah Palin initiated and publicly supports the aerial killing and poison gassing of Alaska's wolves and their pups. What kind of a person would support the killing of these magnificent animals and do a reality show on nature in Alaska, and profit from it? Any news media that promotes this and Sarah Palin as a humanitarian should be ashamed. What a contradiction of humanity. I urge people to see this for what it is and to see Sarah Palin for what she really is - an avid supporter of wolf killing by any means. Please join me and others who believe wolf killing should stop by urging Discovery Communications to stop the airing of this program. You can call their viewer relations line at 571-262-4899 and tell them how you feel. Go on the Defenders of Wildlife site and click on Eye on Palin. You will learn about the horrendous plight she initiated on Alaska's wolves. Ashley Judd herself stood up for wolves. There have been mass media ads about this. Please help these magnificent animals to survive. The more wolves that are destroyed, the more we destroy the ecosystem. Help us help wolves. Do not watch Sarah Palin's new show.

Surprise factor: Zero.
Likelihood of success: also about zero.
Just more Fox Zoo.

why does anyone listen to this woman? Yes, she is attrative, but this woman has know clue what's she talking about. All she wants to do is complain about everybody, the President, his party, and the media. Everybody is the problem, excepted her.

Why do people put this woman down so much! You all are just so jealous of her that she is just a little bit smarter than all ya'll. If anything Obama is probably the person that should be off TV because he is the one who is making no sense at all. Give her a chance because we gave Obama a chance and he screwed up, what has she done?

Sarah Palin is a joke. Stop now and do women of all ages a favor, politics is not her forte.
