ABC Family’s two hits, ‘The Secret Life of the American Teenager’ and ‘Make It or Break It,’ will return this summer with new episodes. The third season of ‘Secret Life’ begins on June 7 at 8 p.m., and the second season of ‘Make It’ premieres on June 28 at 10 p.m.

The network also is launching three new series, it announced in a press release Monday:

“Pretty Little Liars” follows four estranged best friends who are reunited one year after their best friend and the queen bee of the group, Alison, goes missing. They begin to receive messages from an anonymous ‘A,’ who knows all their secrets. The cast includes: Lucy Hale (“Privileged”), Troian Bellisario (‘NCIS”), Ashley Benson (“Eastwick”), Shay Mitchell, and Sasha Pieterse (“Heroes’). It also stars Laura Leighton (‘Melrose Place’), Bianca Lawson (‘The Vampire Diaries’), and Ian Harding (‘NCIS: Los Angeles’). It is based on Alloy Entertainment’s young-adult book series by Sara Shepard. It premieres June 8 at 8 p.m.

“Huge” follows the lives of seven teens and the staff at a weight-loss camp. It stars Nikki Blonsky (“Hairspray”), Andrew Caldwell, Zander Eckhouse, Harvey Guillen, Ari Stidham, Ashley Holliday and Hayley Hasselhoff. It is also based on an Alloy Entertainment book, this one by Sasha Paley. It premieres on June 28 at 9 p.m.

Melissa Joan Hart and Joey Lawrence are executive producing and starring in ‘Melissa & Joey,’ a half-hour sitcom in which Hart plays the grown-up former wild child of a political family who is now a local politician herself. Joey plays her’manny’ when she must take responsibility for her teenage daughter. It will premiere in August.

ABC Family also will premiere in July a two-hour original movie, ‘Revenge of the Bridesmaids.’ When best friends Abigail (Raven-Symoné) and Parker (Joanna Garcia) return to their Southern home for a visit, they learn that their close friend, Rachel, has lost the love of her life, Tony, to their ex-friend Caitlin – a conniving gold digger. Intent upon preventing the loveless marriage, Parker and Abigail go ‘undercover’ as Caitlin’s bridesmaids to sabotage the wedding.
