You think ‘bridezillas’ are bad? Check out the ‘Momster of the Bride.’ She’s the materfamilias wreaking havoc in the run-up to her daughter’s big day in this new special. Here’s hoping the wedding goes off without -- or rather, with -- a hitch. (Style, 9 p.m.)

If Ricky Gervais (‘Extras’) seems a bit more animated in his latest series, that’s because he is. ‘The Ricky Gervais Show’ features cartoon versions of the British comic and his cronies riffing on a variety of obscure and often off-color topics. (HBO, 9 p.m.)

The specter of the Nazi era haunted postwar Germany. Exhibit A: The 2008 tale ‘The Reader,’ starring Oscar winner Kate Winslet. Exhibit B: The 2008 docudrama ‘The Baader Meinhof Complex,’ about the notorious terrorist cell. (Showtime, 9 and 11:05 p.m.)
