The Simpsons: Lisa (Yeardley Smith) discovers that her Southern ancestors once helped a slave named Virgil (Wren T. Brown) escape to freedom, a family saga she presents during Black History Month in a new episode of the animated series (8 p.m. Fox).

Nature: The new episode "Invasion of the Giant Pythons" visits Florida's Everglades National Park, a protected wilderness where pythons now thrive (8 p.m. KCET).

Desperate Housewives: After Susan (Teri Hatcher) invites former stripper Robin (Julie Benz) into her home, Lynette's (Felicity Huffman) three teenage boys are distracted (9 p.m. ABC).

The Family Crews: In this new unscripted series, former football player Terry Crews juggles his acting career with a busy family life (9 p.m. BET).

Big Love: After Lois and Frank's (Grace Zabriskie, Bruce Dern) latest smuggling gambit goes awry, Bill (Bill Paxton) makes an emergency trip to Mexico, accompanied by Joey (Shawn Doyle), in this new episode (9 p.m. HBO).

Keeping Up With the Kardashians: In the season finale, Kourt decides to take Scott back and gives birth to their son, Mason (10 p.m. E!).

Brothers & Sisters: Valentine's Day brings both love and loss to the Walkers as Luc (Gilles Marini), the love of Sarah's life, returns (10 p.m. ABC).


Nasca Lines: The Buried Secrets: A team of specialists from around the globe gathers in the foothills of the Peruvian Andes to investigate the Nasca Lines, immense ancient lines that form the shapes of animals, plants and humans that are discernible only from the air (7 and 10 p.m. National Geographic).


School Gyrls: Three freshmen who love to sing and dance showcase their talents at an all-girl boarding school in the 2010 TV movie starring Mandy Rain and Jacquelyn Rae Pyles (7 p.m. Nickelodeon).
