Second season of MTV's 'Jersey Shore' to film in South Beach. Probably.
No deals are signed yet, but all signs point to a whole lotta GTL going down in South Beach.
Movieline is reporting that the second season of the MTV hit "Jersey Shore" will in fact be shot in Miami's nightclub Mecca. A rep for the network would not confirm.
But the evidence is there. According to Movieline's report:
Rumors that Jersey Shore might set up shop in the Miami neighborhood intensified a week ago when TMZ intercepted a producer’s letter to the owner of Miami’s Mynt Lounge, asking for permission to shoot there in the coming months. At that time, sources told TMZ that the series was still deciding between Miami and nine other cities both inside and outside of the United States.
No longer — Snooki, the Situation, and all the rest will be heading to Miami Beach in May. Once there, they’ll stay in a house off Lincoln Road in SoBe that MTV is currently renting and renovating for the occasion.
Meanwhile, we cry "Whew!" Nothing could be worse than the thought of Snooki & Co. being shipped off to the Middle of Nowhere and put through something out of "The Simple Life" playbook.
Please. No.

This show rocks! Didnt want it to end... Snookie is hilarious,the situation is awsome,says what he thinks,and the sammies relationship puts relationship drama in the show so its not just the singels you want to see. i looked forward to the next show every week, anticipating,whats next... Bring it on... another season,wherever...preferably,nj...

Well if the show "jersey shore" is not filmed at the jersey shore then there name needs to be changed... they have embarrassed us jersey people enough, they do not need to drag us around to other parts of the United States, name them something else....
