Our very own Conan Twitter Tracker [Updated]
Earlier this evening, Show Tracker noted that Conan O'Brien had come out of his self-imposed seclusion/vacation to tweet for the first time.
Yes, we know. The late-night comic with his own Twitter Tracker segment has finally caved in and joined the growing masses. Oh, the irony.
Or is there a revolution afoot, a rebellion that is somehow related to the reported live tour the seven-month host of "The Tonight Show" is said to be planning?
Do we sound cynical?
Check this tip brought to our attention by a savvy Show Tracker reader: The squirrel that Conan interviewed this afternoon--the one he tweeted about--also has a Twitter account. The squirrel apparently enjoyed the interview because it opened the account five hours ago and, so far, has 92 followers and is only following Coco.
Coco, on the other hand, is still not following anyone. But in eight hours has managed to land 210,873 followers. We agree with Terrence, another Show Tracker reader. Viva "El Coco Revolucion!"
[Update: 11:15 p.m. This just in: The @conanobrien account was opened Feb. 18, so it seems that Conan has been thinking about his first tweet for an entire week. The Squirrel, however, opened its account today.]

Conan's squirrel's twitter account is not verified. How do we know this is really secret squirrel?

Jim S: You're so right. We thought about that. But since the Squirrel is following Coco, we decided that was good enough. Thanks for the comment!
