The Life & Times of Tim: Steve Dildarian’s offbeat, animated comedy series returns for a new season, chronicling more adventures of a hapless New Yorker in his 20s (9:30 p.m. HBO).

The Haunted: A couple call in a paranormal team after finding words spray-painted on their house and hearing animal-like growls in the season finale (10 p.m. Animal Planet).
