Tavis Smiley Reports: The talk-show host accompanies Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton on a diplomatic mission abroad and to meetings on Capitol Hill in the premiere of this new series (8 p.m. KCET).

The National Parks: America's Best Idea: Ken Burns' 12-hour, six-part documentary series, which chronicles the once-radical idea of preserving the nation's most beautiful and unique places for the general public, returns for an encore airing (9 p.m. KCET).

Steven Seagal Lawman: Deputy Chief Seagal and his team work with a narcotics unit on an undercover sting in this new episode (10 p.m. A&E).

Launch My Line: The two-part season finale opens with designers scrambling to put the rest of their fashion lines together (10 p.m. Bravo).

The E! True Hollywood Story: The life of Grammy-winning musician Usher is charted through interviews and performance footage (10 p.m. E!).

Spectacle: Elvis Costello With...: Bruce Springsteen comes back for more time with Elvis in the conclusion of his two part session (10 p.m. Sundance).


State of the Union: President Obama addresses a joint session of Congress (6 p.m. CBS, NBC, ABC, Fox, MyNet, KCET, CNBC, CNN, C-Span, Fox News, Fox Business, MSNBC).

Lost: The Final Season: Beginning of the End: This new special revisits the quirky series' biggest moments ahead of the premiere of its final season (8 p.m. ABC).


Terminator 2: Judgment Day: Arnold Schwarzenegger is back in director James Cameron's 1991 sci-fi/action sequel; Edward Furlong, Robert Patrick and Linda Hamilton also star (10:30 p.m. AMC).


Pro basketball: The Lakers play the Pacers (4 p.m. KCAL) and the Clippers face the Nets (4:30 p.m. FS Prime).

College basketball: Notre Dame at Villanova (4 p.m. ESPN); Texas A&M at Oklahoma State (4:30 p.m. ESPN2); Florida State at Duke (6 p.m. ESPN).
