The drinks will flow and the laughs will follow as the veddy British and oh-so-droll Ricky Gervais hosts ‘The 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards,’ the Hollywood Foreign Press Assn.’s yearly shindig celebrating the best of the big and small screens. (NBC, 5 and 8 p.m.) MONDAY

Think of it as Spinal Tap for kids: Logan Miller stars as a suburban teen who helps a group of aging rockers known as Iron Weasel make one last stab at the big time in the new musical sitcom ‘I’m in the Band.’ (Disney XD, 7 and 9 p.m.)

TUESDAY

‘Nova’ walks like an ancient Egyptian as it attempts to solve the ‘Riddles of the Sphinx.’ Riddles such as: Who carved the iconic and enigmatic sculpture? And how? And why? Inquiring archaeologists including Mark Lehner and Zahi Hawass want to know. (KCET, 8 p.m.)

WEDNESDAY

It may be Mr. Costello’s show, but Bruce Springsteen is still ‘The Boss’ as the two Rock and Roll Hall of Famers team for an evening of musical performances and songwriter shoptalk on Part 1 of 2 of a new edition of ‘Spectacle: Elvis Costello With ...’(Sundance, 10 p.m.)

THURSDAY

Five fledgling legal eagles (Tina Majorino, Matt Long, Leah Pipes, Ben Lawson, Mehcad Brooks) find themselves in ‘The Deep End’ in this new drama about a high-powered Los Angeles law firm. Billy Zane, Nicole Ari Parker and Clancy Brown also star. (ABC, 8 p.m.)

FRIDAY

‘Dollhouse,’ the mind-bending sci-fi drama starring Eliza Dushku, ends its too-short two-season run. But fear not, fellow geeks: ‘Caprica,’ the ‘Battlestar Galactica’ prequel starring Esai Morales and Eric Stoltz, makes its much-anticipated debut. (Fox, 9 p.m.; SyFy, 9 p.m.)

SATURDAY

Ripped from the headlines: A cyber-journalist (‘American Beauty’s’ Thora Birch) probes a rash of teen pregnancies at her old alma mater in the new made-for-cable movie ‘The Pregnancy Pact.’ Nancy Travis and Camryn Manheim also star. (9 p.m. Lifetime)
