David Hasselhoff jumps from 'America's Got Talent' to his own reality show
As he teased earlier this month when he quit "America's Got Talent," David Hasselhoff is in fact getting his own reality show.
A&E has signed the former "Baywatch" star to an as-yet-untitled series about his life as a stage dad. Apparently when he's not turning up in the tabloids and gossip news sites, the Hoff has been helping both of his teenage daughters, Taylor-Ann and Haley, pursue singing careers.
Taylor-Ann, 19, a communications major at the University of Arizona, famously filmed her father shirtless, eating a Wendy's cheeseburger off the floor while drunk in 2007. (Her voice can be heard on the video pleading with Hasselhoff to stop.) Haley, 17, is a working model and aspiring actress.
A&E said the show will premiere some time this year.

Who really cares? It will be another stupid show theirs.

More dumbing down on American viewers. People will tune in to watch him drink himself to death.

Well, when these reality shows about famous families decline in popularity, maybe there ought to be one entitled, "Celebrity Dads and Stepdads Rehab".

Hoff has made a series of bad decisions. Leaving America's Got Talent is ridiculous. You don't just leave a show, especially if you're Hasselhoff. A guy with few options left.
But, Howie is doing a good job. At least, he doesn't slur his words when he's talking to the contestants.
These reality shows are really starting to become extinct. I think we've just plain burned out on peering into the lives of people who think they are so dynamic that viewers are happy just watching their boring every day lives. The Osbournes was the best. But, the endless parade of stars who wanted in on the game has become just too much.
