Rule No. 1 of being a reality TV star: Stretch that 15 minutes as long as you possibly can!

ABC has confirmed its seven-episode order of ‘Bachelor Pad,’ a spinoff series that sounds a little like ‘The Surreal Life’ meets ‘Big Brother.’

The reality competition show will see 20 ‘all-star’ contestants from ‘The Bachelor’ and its sister series, ‘The Bachelorette,’ invited to move into a house together. Each episode will feature challenges and, of course, evictions.

Though ABC declined to confirm the contestants expected to appear, executive producer Martin Hilton is confident that the complicated history the contestants share will make for a solid series. According to Hilton, there will be many memorable faces, including former winners and, of course, ‘Bachelor’ host Chris Harrison.

Production has not started, but ‘The Bachelor Pad’ is expected to air on ABC this summer.

What are your thoughts about this latest spinoff? Whom do you hope to see return to the house? Let me know in the comments below!
