SPECIALS

New Year's Eve Live With Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin: The low-key news anchor and the red-headed comedian re-team to host coverage from Times Square (8 p.m. CNN).

All American New Year: Bill O'Reilly, Shepard Smith, Glenn Beck, Greta Van Susteren are slated to appear in this special, which includes a performance by Lee Greenwood (8 p.m. Fox News).

Top 10 Performances: Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Lady Gaga, Paramore, Katy Perry and Eminem are featured in this collection of clips from assorted award shows and events (8 p.m. MTV).

NBC's New Year's Eve With Carson Daly: The "Last Call" host fronts this new special, with scheduled performances by Green Day, Jay-Z and Rihanna (10 and 11:30 p.m. NBC).

Dick Clark's Primetime New Year's Rockin' Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2010: The former "American Bandstand" host is again joined by the current "American Idol" host for the festivities in Times Square (10 p.m. ABC).

106 & Party: BET looks back at 2009 and looks ahead to the New Year in this celebratory special (11 p.m. BET).

Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2010: The party continues, with scheduled performances by the Black Eyed Peas, Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber, Colbie Caillat, Jennifer Lopez and Daughtry (11:30 p.m. ABC).

MOVIES

The Thin Man: William Powell and Myrna Loy star in this classic 1934 comedy-mystery movie (5 p.m. TCM).

Wanted: James McAvoy and Angelina Jolie star in this high-octane 2008 action thriller (10 p.m. Cinemax).

SPORTS

College football: It's the Air Force vs. Houston in the Armed Forces Bowl (9 a.m. ESPN); Oklahoma faces Stanford in the Sun Bowl (11 a.m. CBS); Missouri meets Navy in the Texas Bowl (12:30 p.m. ESPN); Iowa State plays Minnesota in the Insight Bowl (3 p.m. NFL); and Tennessee takes on Virginia Tech in the Chick-fil-A Bowl (4:30 p.m. ESPN).
