Taken: A former spy (Liam Neeson) uses his old skills to save his kidnapped daughter in this 2009 thriller (8:45 p.m. HBO).

12 Men of Christmas: Kristin Chenoweth stars as a New York public relations executive who loses her job and her fiance on the same night, and channels her energy and media savvy into raising funds for a Montana rescue team by producing a steamy calendar of its hunky men, in this 2009 TV romantic comedy, adapted from a novel by Phillipa Ashley (9 and 11 p.m. Lifetime).
