'Project Runway': Get a look at the Season 7 cast!

If you've been dying to get a look at what Tim Gunn calls "the season of the sashay," then you're in luck: The return of "Project Runway" is less than a month away -- January 14, mark your calendars! Bonus: It's back in New York.

If you want to start picking favorites now, Lifetime has the new cast featured on its website. Seems like an especially international cast this season, with contestants hailing from the Ivory Coast, the Dominican Republic, the Philippines, Mexico and China, although this Midwest girl might have to root for the designer hailing from Whitefish Bay, Wis.

This last season of Project Runway was the worst. With the exception of Ra'Mon and Epperson, I had zero interest in the rest of the contestants. Not only were they completely blah and many times annoying as individuals, I wasn't too impressed by their skills. The final runway show was horrible. Irina had to win because she was the only one that put forth a cohesive collection, but she was so mean and nasty. Hopefully the coming season will be much improved, otherwise the move to Lifetime was a killer for this show.
