‘Late Show’ host David Letterman, who recently revealed that he had sex with staff members in the years leading up to his marriage, unleashed his comic perspective Monday on the allegations that golfer Tiger Woods cheated on his wife.

‘If this had only happened three months ago, I’d have material for a year,’ Letterman quipped during his opening monologue. The show was on hiatus last week when the news about Woods broke.

Letterman’s ‘Top 10 Ways Tiger Woods Can Improve his Image’ included ‘Change name ‘Tiger’ to more adorable ‘Puppy.’ ‘ The No. 1 way: ‘Blame Letterman.’

The show’s band had its own fun with the routine when bandleader Paul Shaffer led them in a rousing rendition of ‘Hold That Tiger.’
