The 1991 sequel, ‘Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey,’ follows at 10 p.m.

By the People: The Election of Barack Obama: This 2009 TV documentary follows Illinois Sen. Barack Obama’s campaign to become president (noon and 8:30 p.m. HBO).

The Killing Room: A scientist subjects four unwitting volunteers to torturous experiments in this 2009 thriller. Nick Cannon and Clea DuVall star (9 p.m. Showtime).
