ARE YOU EXPERIENCED? Steve Carell ("The Office") is "The 40-Year-Old Virgin" in this hilarious yet heartfelt 2005 comedy, at 8 p.m. on NBC. Jane Lynch also stars.

Bill Moyers Journal: Renowned primatologist and author Dr. Jane Goodall discusses her ongoing advocacy for all of the Earth's creatures in this new installment (9 p.m. KCET).

Ghost Adventures: The team investigates spooky business at an old firearms factory in this new episode (9 p.m. Travel).

Monk: The comedy-mystery series about an obsessive compulsive detective (Tony Shalhoub) prepares to say "goodbye" with the first half of a two-part series finale (9 p.m. USA).

Numb3rs: Don (Rob Morrow) and his team have only four hours to stop hijackers who have taken a bus full of tourists hostage in this repeat (10 p.m. CBS)

White Collar: A tricky case takes Peter and Neal (Tim DeKay, Matt Bomer) deep into the heart of New York City's Chinatown in this new episode (10 p.m. USA).

The Ninth Gate: Johnny Depp and Frank Langella star in director Roman Polanski's atmospheric 1999 supernatural thriller (7 p.m. IFC).

Ice Age: The Meltdown: The prehistoric pals deal with global warming in this computer-animated 2006 sequel (8 p.m. Fox).
