Exclusive first look: Is the gig up for Olivia on 'The City' finale?
Last week, we watched as Olivia prepped a “Today” show segment that would feature Joe Zee as Elle’s on-air talent. You think she would want to impress the guy who hired her and has had her back all season. Instead, she pulled another Olivia and, once again, left Erin (and a hapless intern) to pick up the slack.
In this week’s exclusive clip from "The City" season finale, we finally see the aftermath of the "Today" segment. Did it take Olivia’s bad work ethic affecting him personally for Joe Zee to see the light? And has Erin finally had enough?
Do you think Olivia was to blame for her lack of preparation? Or could Erin have set her up?
Tuesday: Check back here for my interview with “The City’s” love-stunted, yet fashion-forward Whitney Port!

I can't wait until Olivia gets brought down.. Some people think they are entitled to things and don't have to work for what they want. I will enjoy watching "your highness" get brought down a peg or two

To be honest, I would hate to work under Erin, she isn't at all explicit about what Olivia must do to succeed...she hints around. For example, she doesn't tell Olivia she must go to the tradeshows to do her job. She doesn't tell Olivia to write down the designers/price points so that it can be given to Joe. If I'm just learning, I would expect to be told what to do or what's expected, rather than try to infer or figure out if it's just for informational purposes. And for a PR person, Erin sucks at hiding her emotions and keeping personal issues out of settings with clients. Erin's approach about why her looks that she pulled were better than Olivia's was confrontational, rather than explanatory. I didn't blame Olivia for cutting off her attempt at humiliating her. I also don't think Olivia is asking too much to be addressed in a professional manner rather than the condescending tone Erin has had since day one. It's business, Erin should quit acting like everything is a personal affront. Not everyone likes who they have to work with, but you suck it up, take emotions out of the equation, keep things neutral and get the job done.
Of course, all of this doesn't excuse Olivia for not going the extra mile and not making more of an effort to succeed in spite of Erin. She has issues, but I don't think she should be totally villified.

Olvia should not have to be told every detail of what she needs to do to pull clothings or accessories needed for a show. Remember Joe hired her because he thought she had taste and she lied about picking the outfit for the model. Whitney picked the outfit and Olivia lied. So I don't think she is all the savy about the fashion industry.

I THINK OLVIA SHOULD NOT HAVE TO BE TOLD WHAT HER JOB IS WHEN SHE IS TOLD TO PULL CLOTHING AND ACCESSORIES FOR A SHOW. SHE LIED ABOUT PICKING OUT THE CLOTHES THE MODEL WORE FOR A MAGAZINE. WHITNEY WAS THE PERSON THAT SELECTED THE OUTFIT AND JOE HIRED HER BASED ON THIS. HE SAID HE THOUGHT SHE HAD TASTE AND EXPERIENCE.
TOO BAD THEY DID NOT HAVE ON THE SHOW WHERE JOE FOUND OUT THAT IT WAS WHITNEY WHO SELECTED THE OUTFIT AND NOT OLVIA.
SHE IS OUT FOR HERSELF AND I WOULD LIKE TO SEE HER POSITION BE DEMOTED.

I THINK JOE NEEDS TO APPRECIATE ERIN. SHE HAS BEEN WITH THE COMPANY AND OLIVIA IS CREATING MORE WORK FOR HER. JOE GIVES OLIVIA TOO MUCH CREDIT WHEN SHE IS CREATING MORE WORK FOR JOE AND ERIN.
HE ASKED OILIVIA TO GET ERIN AND SHE DID NOT SEEM TO CONCERNED ABOUT FINDING HER AND THIS LEFT JOE IN A SPOT BECAUSE HE DID NOT GET INFORMATION ON THE OUTFITS THAT WERE
SELECTED FOR THE SHOW.
