CBS orders some (but not 9) more of 'Accidentally on Purpose'
CBS has ordered five more episodes of the Jenna Elfman sitcom "Accidentally on Purpose," a network rep confirmed.
The move is close to but not quite a vote of confidence in the series -- five episodes is fewer than the "back 9" that make up a full-season pickup. The news comes on the heels of a nice ratings bump for "Accidentally," which according to preliminary overnight numbers drew its best ratings Monday since the premiere.
In October, CBS ordered full seasons of its other rookie series "NCIS: Los Angeles" and "The Good Wife." Still no word on more episodes of struggling first-year medical drama "Three Rivers."

Three Rivers is a refreshing, riveting, compelling, heartfelt, inspiring and exciting medical drama with brilliant actors who shine every week. Each episode gets better and better. Last Sunday night episode, all the performances of the actors were superb, with humor, drama, intensity, excitement, romance and compassion. Three Rivers deserves a full season pick up. It's really unfortunate that Three Rivers has a Sunday night time slot. In the last four episodes, two of the episodes have been severely delayed due to overtime football games. How can CBS expects to gain more new viewers when Three Rivers does not air on time? Please give Three Rivers and its talented cast a chance to prove what a fantastic drama this is. Perhaps, Three Rivers' difficult time slot could be changed to a different night on CBS, with more promotions. Thank you

They're kidding right? "Accidentally on Purpose" is a terrible show. Apparently this group of people (who pathetically try to act younger than they are) only talk about sex and how to get it. They regurgitate the same, ridiculous "rules" on dating that TV has been propagating that are very far from the truth in the real world. Weak, poorly written, and sorry storylines. Cut the line please.

Please, Jenna Elfman??? Sorry but I don't watch anything with a ardent Scientology member/supporter. Boycott please.

I really like Accidentally On Purpose and hope CBS gives it a Season Two. If I remember right, it took Big Bang Theory awhile to find its legs too. AOP is fun and fresh, not as sadly repetitive and raunchy as 2.5 Men, and gets better every week. The secondary characters are so good, they can carry the story too, which makes for way more plotlines and epis that make us laugh. The "real world" is changing and AOP is keeping up. Go Zack and Billie!
