MISSING: Juliet Stevenson stars as a TV journalist who reopens the unsolved 1963 disappearance of a 13-year-old girl on 'Masterpiece Contemporary: Place of Execution,' at 9 p.m. on KCET. With Greg Wise.


Nature: This new episode, "Born Wild: The First Days of Life," documents the birth and first moments of life of different animals, including marmoset, moose, elephant and gorilla (8 p.m. KCET).

Three Rivers: Andy (Alex O'Loughlin) treats his wife's partner, who has an aortic aneurysm and can be saved by a high-risk procedure. Katherine Moennig, Daniel Henney, Christopher J. Hanke and Alfre Woodard also star in the new episode (9 p.m. CBS).

Desperate Housewives: As Katherine (Dana Delany) continues her efforts to seduce Mike (James Denton), further alienating her from Susan (Teri Hatcher), Bree's (Marcia Cross) feelings for Karl grow stronger. Elsewhere on Wisteria Lane, Gaby (Eva Longoria Parker) gets Juanita (Madison de la Garza) expelled, and Lynette (Felicity Huffman) learns Tom is cheating on his exam (9 p.m. ABC).

Bored to Death: Ray (Zach Galifianakis) asks Jonathan (Jason Schwartzman) to investigate the disappearance of a lesbian couple he's been doing business with in this new episode (9:30 p.m. HBO).

Mad Men: Don (Jon Hamm) meets with a candidate and Peggy (Elisabeth Moss) second guesses her own taste in men (10 p.m. AMC).

Styl'd: In this new unscripted series, assistants work for celebrity stylists in hopes of getting a contract (10 p.m. MTV).


Outbreak: Transported to the United States by a monkey, a strain of the lethal Ebola virus makes an infected California town the center of considerable panic in director Wolfgang Petersen's 1995 thriller. Dustin Hoffman plays a scientist struggling to contain the illness while battling a related military plan to isolate the problem. Rene Russo, Morgan Freeman, Donald Sutherland, Kevin Spacey and Cuba Gooding Jr. co-star (7 p.m. AMC).

Underworld: Rise of the Lycans: Michael Sheen and Bill Nighy star in the 2009 TV vampire movie (7:20 p.m. Starz).

The Uninvited: A ghost prompts a lethal battle of wills between a man's new fiancée and his two daughters, one of whom has just returned from a mental ward, in the 2009 drama starring Elizabeth Banks and Emily Browning (8:30 p.m. Cinemax).

Come Dance at My Wedding: A woman and her father differ on the future of a dance studio in the 2009 TV drama starring John Schneider and Roma Downey (9 p.m. Hallmark).
