Sarah Palin will dish on 'Oprah'
On Nov. 16 -- yes, in the middle of TV sweeps -- former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will appear on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" for what is being billed as an "exclusive" chat.
Palin is hawking her book, "Going Rogue: An American Life," and there's probably no place better in the world for an author to sell her wares than on "Oprah."
Palin became world-famous when she became Sen. John McCain's running mate in the presidential election and was the subject of much ridicule when she failed to tell CBS anchor Katie Couric what newspapers she likes to read.
Do you think she'll be better prepared now that she's an author?

Let's face it- Sarah did not write this book. How could she?
It is very sad to see the US regressing to the point where we are turning everything into an icon and not digging into the truth. Put out a sound bite and screw reality. Sarah Palin epitomizes that.

Oprah is going to rip her apart. Can't wait!

I'd use the term "author" rather lightly in this case. If, by author, you mean a person who hires a partisan media team to coerce her tortured way of communicating her warped world view into a somewhat intelligible book that makes her seem more "hockey mom" and less crazy, then she's an author alright.
Beware of this dangerous public figure.

I doubt that Sarah needs any schooling from Katie. Katie, like so many other Liberals take delite in trying to delibertly trip Sarah up. The tables could be easily turned.

I have loved Oprah for a long time. It is so disappointing to know she has sold out in order to increase ratings by offering Palin the national platform of her show.
I have always been Oprah's fan because I thought she held and supported the basic middle class values of honesty and decency. I have cheered knowing she supported middle class values, which are becoming vague and lost in the spotlight of greed. It is so important in today's media culture to have someone like her to present the values I've always thought made life worth living.
Now I know that she's decided ratings trump values. I hope Oprah makes a lot of money in her support of Palin and anyone else who increases her ratings and pocketbook. Hopefully she will use the additional billions to feed others, including herself.

You can't prepare an idiot.

Your headline says that "Sarah Palin will dish on 'Oprah'", yet your "article" doesn't elaborate. What's up with that?

"Do you think she'll be better prepared now that she's an author?" - sneering commentary for the masses of idiots? - she's a far better leader than the One

At least Palin admitted she used a ghost writer unlike Obama.

Good for Sarah and Oprah. Leftist intolerant bigoted hatemongering liberals may turn off the TV, but who cares. Their puny minds are too weak to endure someone who does not puppet their Obamaism religion.

How many people believe Sarah Palin actually wrote this book during the past five months (since the contract was announced.)
Heck, how many people believe Sarah Palin has actually READ a book during the past five months?

Oh goodness gracious... you haven't been really watching her if you think she's all for the middle class. She's really all about the self... and when she helps people? It's b/c it makes her feel important. So, it goes back to how important she feels today.

It will be entertaining...Sarah thinks she can represent, however, she doesn't know how ridiculous she looks and how unimportant her viewpoint is...she is not an elected official of anywhere, she is a pampered cheerleader of the right and is the laughingstock of the media...I'd rather watch Tina Fey impersonate her anytime than the real deal....

Has Oprah jumped the shark?
