Kate Gosselin will answer viewer questions in new TLC special
Next week's regularly scheduled episode of "Jon & Kate Plus 8" will be replaced by the special "You Ask, Kate Answers," in which Kate Gosselin will answer questions submitted by the show's viewers.
A TLC spokeswoman sent us the special's official description:
As Kate takes on tough audience questions, she relives memories of the show and gives honest answers, but will Kate be shocked by some of the things the audience wants to know? Will she ever get married again? Where does Kate see kids in 10 years? Do you wear heels all the time? Do the kids know they’re famous? How is it handling school homework with eight kids?
"You Ask, Kate Answers" will air Monday at 9 p.m. on TLC.

My question is, "Why does anyone care?" Why is the country so interested in Jon and Kate? Or maybe people really don't care and the media keeps insisting on extending Jon and Kate's 15 minutes of fame into an eternity. I don't care about Jon or Kate or the plus eight and I don't care about Heidi and Spencer. Time to move on!

The questions I'd really love her to answer are:
"What do you think of Jon's mid-life crisis?
What do you think of Hailey?
What information did Jon get when hacking into your computer?
Was Jon always so self-centered or did he recently bump his head?
How long after Jon left did he start having affairs?
Will the new "View" style show go ahead, and will we get it in Australia?
How do you manage to have 8 well behaved kids, I struggle with getting my little boy to behave in public?

PS. I'd also like to say that it's a shame people are so dismissive of the show. It was a great show for parents with kids to watch. Not everyone likes to follow glorified movie stars....some of us actually like seeing other families. It's just a shame that the relationship broke down, however considering the pressures of having 8 kids and working from home with her partner - you must never get an outlet to release pressure. Hope it works out for Kate and the kids. I've lost hope for Jon - he's developed the movie star attitude even though ain't no movie star material.

Shocked by some of the questions??? No way - unless the inane shocks her. She'll handle only softball questions, and the tough ones will fall by the wayside. This will be a puff piece and a complete waste of airtime. Hmmm...just like the rest of the series.

People are so nieve if they think TLC and Kate's PR people are going to let Kate answer they really "truthful" questions. Kate will do her same old song and dance,"I am doing it for the children", and taking the "High Road" by not commenting on certain questions. I think some people are only interested in J&K because these two pathetic people make everyone else on the planet look good! We all just wish this would truly be the LAST we hear or see of Kate Gosselin. Go back to being a real mother and get a real job to support your children. Hopefully if she answers the question of were do you see yourself in 5 or 10 years, we will all hear her say "living quietly out of the public eye"! But of course, that is not what we will be hearing! Hailey Glassman got it right when she said, "TLC=The Lying Channel"!

If these are the shocking and tough questions TLC viewers came up with, it sure says a lot about the network's viewer base...

I think it is outragous that Kate is such a celebrity. And she is so "sweet" now. How condecending can she get? She was such a hatefull person to Jon on the air that I am surprised he stayed so long. And look at the way she treats her mother, dad and brother......
Jon could use a little tact in the way he acts but she is so two faced.
I think if TLC continues with their law suit agains Jon I will discontinue watching it.

I did enjoy Jon and Kate Plus 8. I think the kids are adorable and it was just an easy fun show that didn't take a lot of thinking...just a smile as I watched the kids do this and that. Kate, I think you are a beautiful woman and a good MOM, especially with 8 kids to nurture, but I did think that you ordered Jon around too much. He is a man and not a robot or someone to be yelled at so much. Any man would get sick of it. I know mine would. I keep hearing your words, "it may be a crazy life, but it's our life". I feel so badly that it didn't last for all of you. Both of you should have gotten on your knees and prayed to stay together. The two of you created those kids and the two of you should see it through like this...."for better for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health, till death do us part". That is what life and a marriage is all about. Ask me about my marriage with 3 kids, 13 months apart and Post-Partum Depression and Agoraphobis that set in with baby NO. 2 and lasted 15 years, but today my husband and I have been married 46 years through more than you will ever endure or know. YOu should have tried harder and harder and then tried some more. It was the only right thing to do for not only yourselves but for those adorable children. Ah ha....Love you and will pray for the both of you and the kids, too.

Some Mother she is !!! what a joke. The news over here is out of control, tell us about the families who are losing everything because of the greed of the last Administration

I love kate gosselin,and i hate jon for what he did to kate and the kides. and we like the new tlc show,You ask and kate will answer.I wish you the best kate gosselin.

If you don't like to watch it, then don't! Some of us do watch TV and of course it is a little interesting to learn about a family who started with twins and now has twins + sextuplets. I think that it amazes me how well Kate is holding up due to having that many children, plus a husband that is not sure of what to do with his life and situation, plus all the paparazzi and fame, the list just goes on! I have one daughter and I struggle to keep going sometimes because it is hard, but considering Kates situation..she is AWESOME! If you are mad because she had a tummy tuck or wear's heels alot..then you are crazy! We are women..our body never goes back to the way it was before we had children, unless you have the money for surgery or are the type of person that can actually get into a routine of working out everday, then you know that you would love to be able to flaunt yourself like you did before you got pregnant. IT MAKES YOU FEEL GOOD ABOUT YOURSELF!!! Kate you are a huge role model and I wish the best for you and your beautiful children! : ) Oh..and to Jon, I know that it can be annoying having a wife nagging at you somewhat alot, but you have to understand yall have 8 children now so yes she probably has a hard time handling it sometimes, but that is why you are supposed to be her other half, to support and love Kate. Yes I am sure with all the chaos it is nice to have a little fling or whatever but get real...you have a beautiful wife and children that need you!! So stop having your midlife crisis and go back and give your wife and kids your attention and affection. : ) That is all I have to say for now. Stop hating haters!! Go do something else that doesn't "waste" your time.
