Flu shuts down production on 'Bones'

October 5, 2009 |  2:35 pm

For the first time in the show's history, the producers of "Bones" were forced to shut down production on Monday because star David Boreanaz is ill with the flu, a Fox publicist said.

"Bones" creator Hart Hanson jumped the gun on Twitter earlier today, writing that Boreanaz is suffering from the swine flu, but he later retracted it, saying there is "no indication" the actor has the H1N1 variety of the flu.

Hanson also wrote that he expects production to resume Tuesday, as was first reported on the Wrap.

Used to love the show, stopped watching when the characters became so stupid. To bad, I really enjoyed it until then. Some of my friends told me they stopped watching for the same reason.

Feel better soon David!
