The New Adventures of Old Christine: Barb (Wanda Sykes) is being held in a Caribbean jail after being arrested on immigration charges at Richard and new Christine’s (Clark Gregg, Emily Rutherfurd) wedding debacle, so Christine and Matthew (Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Hamish Linklater) fly to the Bahamas to try to get her an illegal visa on the season premiere (8 p.m. CBS).

Mercy: Taylor Schilling, Jaime Lee Kirchner and Michelle Trachtenberg play three nurses at the heart of this new hospital-based series (8 p.m. NBC).

Dancing With the Stars: The results episode features a tribute to the late Patrick Swayze and performances from the cast of Broadway’s ‘The Lion King’ and Sean Kingston (8 p.m. ABC).

Gary Unmarried: Gary (Jay Mohr) tries to set a good example for his slacker son (Ryan Malgarini) by pursuing his personal dream of becoming a radio sportscaster. Keegan-Michael Key and Brooke D’Orsay join the cast in the season premiere (8:30 p.m. CBS).

Man vs. Wild: The crew discusses how they produce the survival series and what it feels like to follow Bear throughout the world (9 p.m. Discovery).

Cougar Town: Courteney Cox returns to comedy as a recently divorced real estate agent and mom in her 40s who decides to dabble in a dating pool of younger men (9:30 p.m. ABC).

Eastwick: This new TV series, adapted from the John Updike novel and 1987 movie ‘The Witches of Eastwick,’ stars Lindsay Price, Rebecca Romijn and Jaime Ray Newman as three women in a New England village who are drawn together by a handsome newcomer (Paul Gross) who unleashes unique powers in them.
