CREEPY: David Anders stars in the new made-for-TV remake of Stephen King’s chilling short story ‘Children of the Corn,’ at 9 p.m. on SyFy.

The Real Cities: Three New Yorkers tour their favorite local spots in the premiere of this travel series (7 a.m. BBC America).

Made in Hollywood: Teen Edition: Elijah Wood (‘9’) is profiled in the premiere of the children’s entertainment series (7:30 a.m. KCAL).

Robin Hood: After the sheriff (Keith Allen) blackmails the Abbot of Kirklees (David Hayman) into accusing Robin (Jonas Armstrong) of stealing from the church, Tuck (David Harewood) vows to clear Robin’s name. Sam Troughton and Joe Armstrong also star in the new episode (6 and 9 p.m. BBC America).

48 Hours Mystery: The crime series premieres with Gotti family members talking about life inside the mob (10 p.m. CBS).

Saturday Night Live: Megan Fox hosts the season premiere with musical guest U2 (11:29 p.m. NBC).

Ben-Hur: Eleven Oscars went to this 1959 epic of childhood friends, a Jew (Charlton Heston) and a Roman (Stephen Boyd), who become enemies during the time of Christ. William Wyler took the director’s chair for this remake and won an Oscar for his efforts (5 p.m. TCM).

Finding Nemo: A neurotic clownfish (Albert Brooks) teams up with a cheerful but scatterbrained blue tang fish named Dory (Ellen DeGeneres) to search for his son (Alexander Gould), who has been captured by a diver in this 2003 Oscar-winning animated feature. Other voices include Geoffrey Rush, Allison Janney and Willem Dafoe (7 p.m. Disney).

First Blood: The Rambo series began with this violent 1982 thriller starring Sylvester Stallone as an emotionally shattered Vietnam veteran who’s bullied by a redneck sheriff (Brian Dennehy) as he drifts through a Northwestern town. Richard Crenna and David Caruso also appear (7 p.m. Spike).

Homecoming: Mischa Barton and Matt Long star in this 2009 TV drama (9 p.m. Lifetime).

Cadillac Records: Adrien Brody and Beyoncé Knowles star in this 2008 historical drama that boasts terrific musical performances -- including Beyoncé performing the Etta James tune ‘At Last.’ With Mos Def and Jeffrey Wright (9 p.m. Starz).
