Law & Order: Criminal Intent: In this repeat, a hot male model with million-dollar abs turns up dead after a night of love and drugs with an elusive woman (8 p.m. NBC).

Two and a Half Men: Charlie (Charlie Sheen) romances Alan's (Jon Cryer) receptionist (Kelly Stables) in this repeat (9 p.m. CBS).

Gossip Girl: Gossip Girl sends out a damaging e-mail blast during St. Jude and Constance Billard's commencement ceremonies in this repeat (9 p.m. KTLA).

History Detectives: Historians visit a site where a bridge may have been burned during the Civil War (9 p.m. KCET).

The Last Truck: Closing of a GM Plant: After General Motors announces the closing of an assembly plant in Moraine, Ohio, the workers who have been abruptly put out of work reminisce about their time on the factory line in this poignant documentary from Ohio filmmakers Steven Bognar and Julia Reichert (9 p.m. HBO).

Manson: This two-hour special chronicles the nine months leading up to cult leader Charles Manson's 1969 crime spree in which his young followers committed one of the most horrific mass murders in American history, with pregnant actress Sharon Tate among the victims. Cult member Linda Kasabian, later the star witness for the prosecution, provides an insider's perspective on the nightmarish event (9 p.m. History).

MOVIES

The Simpsons Movie: Homer, Bart and their Springfield neighbors and relatives hit the big screen in the summer of 2007 in this spinoff of cartoonist Matt Groening's long-running Fox series. Dan Castellaneta, Julie Kavner, Yeardley Smith and Nancy Cartwright reprise their television voice roles (10 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. HBO).

SPORTS

Tennis: U.S. Open: men's and women's fourth round (8 and 9:30 a.m. CBS). Round of 16 (4 p.m. ESPN2).

Baseball: The Chicago Cubs visit the Pittsburgh Pirates (9:30 a.m. WGN); the Angels visit the Kansas City Royals (11 a.m. FSN); the Dodgers visit the Arizona Diamondbacks (12:30 p.m. FS Prime).

PGA Tour golf: Deutsche Bank Championship: Final (11 a.m. NBC).

College football: Cincinnati at Rutgers (1 p.m. ESPN); Miami at Florida State (5 p.m. ESPN).
