Victoria Beckham may be extending her ‘American Idol’ guest judge work, but don’t expect her to be sitting alongside Simon, Kara and Randy once the real competition begins.

Fox confirmed Thursday morning that Beckham was in Boston for the Judges Round of auditions. (The Judges Round is the point in the show where singers can get a golden ticket to Hollywood.) Beckham had originally been slated to judge in just one city; she weighed in during Friday’s Denver auditions.

Still, Beckham doesn’t seem to be looking for a permanent gig. Her rep told ‘Extra’ that ‘there are no talks of her being a permanent judge. They felt she was natural in Denver. [But] she has Fashion Week coming up, and she is focusing on that.’

As for the online rumors that the former Posh Spice took vocal and facial expression lessons to prepare for her ‘Idol’ work, her rep said the gossip was ‘completely false and totally ridiculous.’

Fox declined to comment on whether Beckham would, in fact, be back for more ‘Idol.’ But it’s not an unlikely possibility: Beckham told the Associated Press during the Denver auditions that she is a big fan of the show. Meanwhile, no other guest judges have been confirmed besides Katy Perry, and the date of her appearance has not yet been set.

Paula Abdul’s sudden departure before this stage of the ‘Idol’ competition has left producers scrambling to fill the panel’s fourth seat.
