ABC picks up new drama, 'Eastwick'
Remember "The Witches of Eastwick"? Soon they'll be on your TV.
ABC has picked up "Eastwick," a drama based on the John Updike novel and 1987 film centering on three single women who live in the New England town of Eastwick. After a crisis bonds them together as friends, weird things -- that is, supernatural -- begin to happen. And, of course, there's a sexy man involved.
Created by Maggie Friedman ("Related" and "Once and Again"), the pilot was directed by David Nutter, who has the longest-running streak of pilot pick-ups for a director in Hollywood.
The cast includes Rebecca Romijn ("Ugly Betty"), who is pictured, Lindsay Price, Veronica Cartwright, Jaime Ray Newman, Ashley Benson Jon Bernthal, Paul Gross, Jaime Ray Newman, Sara Rue, and Johann Urb.

I am totally addicted to this show. There are so few non-crime scene shows to watch. What a refreshing surprise. I can't wait from week to week to see how the stories unfold.
Please, please keep this show.
