Chief TV critic bids adieu to longtime 'CSI' character Gil Grissom.

Grissom is one of my favourite characters in the history of television. I'll miss him.

Grissom's gone and Catherine is in charge. Now that's a seamless transition; Catherine's been in charge of the team, not officially, since the fouth episode of this season. The writer's and producers know there audience and knew if he left and didn't go to Sara there would be hell to pay. Laurence Fishbourne's introduction to the viewer was subtle; but Doc Ray's introduction to forensic's won't be. Which should keep the viewer watching. Ms McNamara should gather more information on Etomology (not sure of the spelling) but Bug Professors can tell from the stages of development of bugs on a body how long the corpse has been dead. All in all it was an excellant episode and if people are true fans of the show they will stay, then again a re-run of CSI:Las Vegas beats watching Grey's Anatomy any day.
