If Sarah Wayne Callies can return to ‘Prison Break’ after her character, Dr. Sara Tancredi, was decapitated, why shouldn’t Muse Watson make a comeback as Charles Westmoreland?

Westmoreland, a.k.a. D.B. Cooper, returns to the Fox drama on Dec. 15. Michael (Wentworth Miller) will encounter him as they search for answers to ‘Scylla.’ Viewers last saw Westmoreland during the initial prison break at the end of the first season. Yes, that was a few prison breaks ago, but Westmoreland remained dear to our hearts as he clung to his life, longing to see his terminally ill daughter and grieving the loss of his prison tabby cat, Marilyn. Viewers then mourned as he died of a stab wound as the rest of the gang escaped.

On Dec. 22, Academy Award and Golden Globe nominee Kathleen Quinlan joins the cast in a recurring role that is going to make fans wonder just how many layers of bureaucracy the Company has. Her mysterious introduction will mark the show’s fall finale. ‘Prison Break’ will return to the Fox lineup some time in the spring.
