But really, was there ever any doubt?
Her win caps the fifth season of "Project Runway" -- possibly its last on Bravo -- and the show's highest-rated cycle yet. Still, fans have complained about the lack of drama -- I'm no fan of Kenley, but she hardly approached the love-to-hate levels of a Wendy Pepper or a Santino Rice. At the same time Leanne, as consistent and talented as she was, ranked far below colorful winners of previous years, Christian Siriano and Jay McCarroll, when it comes to personalities that pop.
But Wednesday's Bryant Park finale reminded me of the other reason "Runway" has been a longtime reality TV indulgence: The fashion. And as my favorite bedazzled TV stylist Rachel Zoe might've said, "Leanne shut. It. Down. Her collection was bananas amazing."
