In Week 5 of the ‘Dancing With the Stars’ competition, we saw four new dances: the West Coast swing, the hustle, the salsa and the jitterbug. Brooke Burke and Derek stayed out in front with a 29/30 for their jitterbug, but they were followed closely by Cody Linley and Julianne at 28/30 for their own jitterbug, and Maurice Greene and Cheryl at 27/30 for their salsa. After last week’s strong tango, it was somewhat surprising that Lance Bass and Lacey ended up tied for last place with Cloris Leachman and Corky, but such is the case.

Given Cloris’s strong fan following, I had thought that Maurice might be a candidate for dismissal this week, but his strong scores will make that less likely. I’m guessing Cloris goes home this week -- what do you think? I’ll post a full write-up on Tuesday morning.
