'Dancing with the Stars': Kim Kardashian is sent back to her reality show
Well, that answers one question: Cloris Leachman has more fans than Kim Kardashian. To be fair, of course, Cloris has been in 10 zillion movies and television shows, while Kim has only been in one reality series and a sex tape, so I suppose it's only natural that Cloris has more fans. Or maybe the AARP rigged the whole thing.
For this week's filler, Jessica Simpson performed two songs and wore a drapey one-shouldered dress. I hope she feels better off without that John Mayer, particularly after how he acted with Jennifer Aniston. I think the new country style is working well for Jessica, though it isn't my cup of tea. The only song I have room for in my brain is the "DWTS" theme song, which plays incessantly as I try to fall asleep.
The first Macy's Stars of Dance performance this season was a high-energy, high-concept number featuring a former Pussycat Doll and Jenna Dewan. The dancers wore outfits with glow-in-the-dark accessories, and there were some nice lighting effects as well. At the dance's conclusion, I had the urge to cry out, "Domo arigato, Mr. Roboto!"
Tonight, we also learned that judges Bruno and Len film two nights of competition and results in the U.S. and then immediately jet off to London, where they do another two nights. And then they fly back to Los Angeles. I'm exhausted just thinking about it. Also, I don't like flying. But I do like going places. You see the conflict inherent in all of this. In addition, it was revealed that the "red room" -- i.e., the backstage area where Samantha Harris conducts her probing interviews -- is where Warren Sapp uses a portable fan to keep cool, Rocco DiSpirito obsessively checks his phone and Cloris keeps everyone on their toes since no one knows what she'll do next. And we get at least one more week of her, so tune in on Monday for the next round of dancing.

I guess you have to actually have to know how to dance in order to last on the show. The real irony is she has such a large asset, yet has no idea how to properly shake it. To be fair, though, I've only seen her dance while watching The Soup because I would rather cut off my pinkie with a rusty butter knife than watch that garbage.

Sorry to say, but nobody really like Kim. Not in a bad way but just that we people don't really like other people who get famous and make lots of money for not accomplishing much. She feels awful because she doesn't get it that people don't like her much cause she doesn't contribute anything to society.

Hahaha. This show is silly. Yes, it is rigged like the article mentions and there is no maybe about this. Kim is the hottest woman they had here dancing. Sure she only has a live tv show and a sex video out there. How many pervs don't we have in america? Plus she is dating the New Orleans Saints Running Back... Come on, who does not think this was rigged? Sorry but this show is just as lame as every other tv show out there. Just like Springer in one of the previous shows who lasted for a long time. Hahaha. The fans, yeah right. Let me put it this way. Whom would you really like to see? An old wrinkly prune or a fresh lovely silky prune that has been dried up yet. Hehehe...

Cloris Leachman is an embarassment to all older people. She has a wonderful opportunity to show the country that a senior can still be agile, graceful and charming. Instead, we are fed profane comments and blatant attempts to always be the center of attention whether or not it is in a good way. She needs to go and she needs to go NEXT!!!

Kim has shown good business smarts for a person of such a young age, which many people don't realize. She has experienced considerable business success with her various fashion ventures, and she's not the only charismatic person to become famous with little actual theatrical experience (and she's much more attractive than some who have). She also created more of her own fame, based on her own looks, talent and personality (and I don't the sex tape) than some of the other contestants who got their fame from who they married. So I don't begrudge her some attention.
However, Cloris probably got many votes from seniors who perhaps normally don't vote but were encouraged and delighted to see Cloris attempt such a feat. She probably also received many votes from regular voters who gave her the "underdog" vote. She is occasionally over the top in her behavior, I agree, but those of us old enough (mid-fifties) remember her significant contributions to sitcoms, dramas and theater, such as "Showboat".
As for vochoa0371's obnoxious and sexist "prune" comparison of Kim and Cloris, he sounds as if he could be one of the "pervs" he therein mentions. Could it be that he has no knowledge of Cloris' theater background because his idea of live theater is a strip club? Well, now that Kim has unfortunately been voted off the show, maybe he'll have to entertain himself by looking through other people's bedroom windows in search of a new "fresh, lovely, silky prune." By that standard, would he prefer that there were no male contestants on the show, either, thus making room for more "fresh, lovely, silky prunes?" What a jerk.

I think Kim Kardashian is hot and bootylicious. She is drop dead gorgeous and I think people should stop judging her as they do not really know her.
I personally enjoyed their reality show and would love it if they had another seasin of it.

How can the voting claim that Cloris Leachman's dancing was superior to those couples who have been 'sent home'. Leachman may be a very nice person, but this is not a contest for nostalgia, nor sympathy. The producers are stinking up the otherwise good show for popular ratings
