This not-so-good photograph is of Georgia, one of the rehabilitated stars of ‘Dogtown: Saving the Michael Vick Dogs.’ She was on a panel to promote the show, which airs Sept. 5.

Georgia was one of the fighting dogs rescued after the Vick scandal. She was bred many times, has no teeth and had to fight for her life for others’ sport. She and the other dogs were brought to Utah’s Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, which is the location of ‘Dogtown.’

All of the dogs are doing all right, we were assured. And some, like Georgia, are doing amazingly well.

Georgia was the huge star of the day. And not easy to photograph because of all the well-deserved petting she was receiving from television journalists.
