At the panel for VH1’s upcoming fashion stylist competition, host and judge Vivica A. Fox, we think, might have been suffering from a slight case of amnesia.

“I’ve had one time when I was on the ‘what the hell was she thinking?’ pages. We made sure that didn’t happen again,” Fox said, with a nudge to fashion stylist Phillip Bloch.

Whoa, wait a minute.

Now, we enjoyed her recent stint as Larry David’s unlikely love interest Loretta Black on “Curb Your Enthusiasm” as much as the next person. And we have much love for her Copperhead in “Kill Bill.’

But we definitely recall more than one dinging for a fashion faux pas.

But we digress.

Fox said the impetus for the show stemmed from her own love of fashion.

“The red carpet can make or break a career,” Fox said, referring to Elizabeth Hurley’s infamous safety-pin dress as an example of a career-launching ensemble. “We never know how much the stylist has to go through. We want to educate the public about what it takes.”

Fox also divulged that she wasn’t sure whether she’d be back for more “Curb.”

“It’s up to LD,” she said. “I hope so. But it all depends on whether he decides he’s going to come back for another season.”
