In case you were missing Bobby Brown, Maureen McCormick and Carnie Wilson, the original cast of CMT’s ‘Gone Country,’ they’re baaack. This time, they are managing a bed and breakfast for a CMT spinoff, the reality-scripted hybrid, ‘Outsider’s Inn.’

The three celebrities-turned-reality-stars appeared on a panel to promote the show during Day 2 of the TV industry’s summer press tour. McCormick said she approached Brown and Wilson about doing the show because she has always dreamed of being an innkeeper (has she talked to Tori Spelling?) and wanted to work with her former costars again.

McCormick ran the inn; Wilson did all the cooking; and Brown gave himself the job of ‘entertainment director.’

Other tidbits culled from the Q&A:

Q: Mr. Brown, are you misunderstood?

Brown: I can say no. People pretty much think they know me but until you meet me and get a chance to spend time with me, don’t judge me.

Q: Miss Wilson, you were in the South and down-home and all that, was it hard cooking all that food?

Wilson: ‘Cause I’m fat and I don’t need it? Is that what you’re saying? I’m kidding! I’m kidding!

Q: Mr. Brown, how is your health?

Brown: My health is perfectly fine. I’ve got a great bill of health. I’m doing really well.

Q: Ms. McCormick, please talk about your autobiography.

McCormick: I had never done a reality show until ‘Celebrity Fit Club’ and ‘Gone Country’ and found them extremely cathartic, and I find that for the first time I’ve been able to reveal the real me. So I’m revealing all of the real me in the book and I’m excited about it. It’s coming out on Oct. 15 and the title is ‘Here’s the Story.’
