‘Gossip Girl’: Socialite Tinsley Mortimer makes a cameo in Season 2

I’m sure you’ve read the news that actress Madchen Amick will be appearing as an older woman after Nate’s heart in Season 2’s first few episodes on ‘Gossip Girl.’ Now photos from the show’s Hamptons set reveal New York socialite and fashion designer Tinsley Mortimer getting ready to shoot a cameo. She and Blake Lively were caught leaving their trailers dressed in white for what looks like a party scene. (P. Diddy’s annual white party perhaps?) If you recall, Mortimer got name-checked in an episode last season when Blair noted that Gossip Girl’s credibility ‘is like Tinsley Mortimer’s after a few martinis.’ Stay tuned to see if the socialite will be wielding a few martinis for this cameo.
