'America's Best Dance Crew 2': Sneak Peek! Video battle playlist (airs June 26)

We attended an ‘America’s Best Dance Crew 2’ taping last night featuring the eight remaining crews. Each group was assigned an artist and a music video that they emulated or re-interpreted in performances airing Thursday on MTV.

Here are a few questions that will be answered tomorrow night: Can Super Cr3w krump? Will host Mario Lopez be persuaded into doing a bump-and-grind onstage with a loud, large and lovely lady from the audience? Can Phresh Select’s Lil-O shine shoes? What does Fanny Pak look like in non-80s themed clothing? Will the bad boys of Supreme Soul try to sneak their logo into the other crews’ shots? What kind of craziness is going to come out of Lil Mama’s mouth this week? (Hey, PETA, forget about KFC. There’s a new poultry perpetrator in town.)

As you Show Tracker fans know, Lil Mama booked from the BET Awards to get to the taping on time and had a few surprising thoughts she wanted to share. Lopez flew in especially for the taping from NYC where he’s performing in ‘A Chorus Line.’ It was Shane Sparks’ and Randy Jackson’s birthday so there were cookies and cupcakes backstage. And the taping ended in a flood of tears back in the Crew Garage when one group was sent packing (they left with the extra cookies and cupcakes).
