Upfronts: CBS picks up 'The Ex List' drama

10:29 AM PT, May 12 2008

CBS has just entered the drama race.

The network has picked up "The Ex List," a drama based on an Israeli show about a woman who tracks down all of her ex-boyfriends after a psychic tells her that she has already met the man she is going to marry. Created by Jonathan Levin ("Charmed"), the show is produced by 20th Century Fox Television. The cast includes Rachel Boston, Alexandra Breckenridge,  Elizabeth Reaser, Adam Rothenberg and Amir Talai.

Even if it was a good show, I will not WATCH it or any other CBS show since they have now managed to cut another show that was better than whatever this is. Ya see I was one of those people that bombarded firefly by not watching it (it was a really good show by the way, I bought it on dvd after it tanked because of their choice to kill a good show for it) when it replaced dark angel. So I have no problem doing the same thing again to prove a point.

never watching cbs again!!! dropping Moonlight which was #1 in it's time slot and won the peoples choice award just shows they don't have a clue.

CBS dropping Moonlight is quite a shame. They are obviously trying to copy the success other networks have had (and not had) by taking a foreign show and redoing it. Moonlight pulled solid 8-9 share each week, and it aired on Friday nights. Their main demo doesn't watch TV on Friday's which is one reason Friday Night Lights has suffered on NBC.

I too will not watch this show or any others on CBS because of their cancellation on Moonlight.

Unfortunately I found out to late that 'Moonlight' was dropped. I barely watch any 'regular' tv shows. But 'Moonlight' had caught my interest. Because of 'Moonlight' I watched 'Ghost Whisperer' before it, just because it was on the same station. 'Moonlight' had great charecters and story line. At the end of every show I was thinking, "Wow, what will next week be like?" Against my better judgement I made plans on Friday night that would not interfere with me catching the show. So I guess I can thank CBS now. I will be doing other things instead of watching TV on Friday nights.
