'America's Next Top Model': Whitney, Fatima or Anya?

The finale of Cycle 10 of "America's Next Top Model" airs tonight, with Whitney, Fatima and Anya vying for the coveted title.  Each girl brings her own strengths to the table: The judges love Whitney's face, and she's determined to break barriers and become the first plus-sized ANTM. The judges also see "model" when they look at Fatima, but her attitude has gotten her in trouble with the judges and her cast-mates (although Tyra Banks does love a good sob story, which Fatima does have). Anya is remarkably drama-free AND has performed strongly as a model during the competition ... will her lack of major obstacle to overcome be her downfall?

I didn't regularly watch the show but when I read Whitney won, I was shocked to read on numerous sites that she was considered "plus size" - since when is a size 10 "plus size"??!?!? I can envision thousands of young girls heading to the toilet to throw up their suppers if that is what society thinks. I am a size 8/10 and have never considered that to be full figured - why? Because IT ISN"T!!!!! THAT is what we should be telling all the young girls out there!!!

For all of you excited about whitney winning as the "plus sized girl"- don't start the celebration yet. Rumor has it she was approched to be on ANTM and told if she gained 10-20 pounds they would put her on as the plus sized. They would also make sure she made it to the final 3. Check out the pics on another site- she's been modeling for a while- as a size 4, not 10.

I am so disappointed that whitney won it should have being between fatima and anya i hate whitney cause tyra is trying to break the record of ANTM from skinny ppl to (FAT)PPL ON the other hand FATIMA said she never been with a man because of what happen to her I wanna know how how she was born if her mom was CIRCUM too anyways the bitch was lying so tyra can feel sorry for her but the bitch humilitated herself STUPID FATIMA BITCH

i'm so happy that whitney won i think she is a really great person however i would think that anya should win cause she really deserves to win im not saying that i hate whitney i just think she is really fake no offence and one thing how cares if she is a plus size she is really cute and deep down inside there is something great abt her that noone notice and i think fatima shoudnt win becausey best friend is from somalila and my friend felt bad b/c she said something abt her religion and she was mad abt when she said that they cant have sex i asked my friend and she said she is lying she said when we get married they can have sex and have kids so i think fatima was fake and i didnt like her for hating her country and relgion so congrats whitney i wish the best xoxoxo selena

I was extrememely disappointed at the results as well. I do think that the fashion industry should accept more full-figured models, but Whitney honestly didnt have that great of a figure to me. During the semi-finals I saw real full-figured women with gorgeous faces, like this one latina chick forgot her name, that were not picked. Whitney looks way too average, like a girl you see in the mall. Most top models have something about their face that is completely unique, but I did not see this in Whitney. I do admire her determination, though. Anya and Fatima, both performed so well and really put their all into it. Anya had so much energy and charisma, so fresh, it was appaling that they would throw all of that in the trash. I honestly feel they had already predetermined that they wanted a plus-size model because Tyra has been having all this talk about embracing your body even if it isnt petite because she isnt as thin as she used to be and she needs something to back it up. Many viewers of her talk show have complained that she lets stick thin girls win and a plus size girl hasnt won yet. Honestly, Tocarra from I think 3 seasons ago did a whole lot better than Whitney to me, she looked better, was real, had personality ,had a beautiful face, and was a true Full-figure plus size model. If they are really lowering their standars like that they should just let 4 feet tall women into the competition too! This is not America's Next Top Model it is Tyra's Next Top Model. I am happy for Whitney, but she simply didnt deserve the spot.

Whitney did have a lot of determination but what is she trying to change again? There are so many designers out there that would never pick someone like her & true there are girls that are anorexic because of shows like this but that's not the point. Being skinny is not the same as being anorexic & just because other people arent as skinny as them doesnt mean they have to have all the hate. I'm happy for Whitney actually, it's something she wanted & she got it. But really i think anya should've won. She deserved it way more but if anya or anyone else is meant to be a model then they're gonna be one regardless of some high status show based on people who just wanna get paid.
